Senior Oracle DBA.
Required:
DBA Skills
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Concepts.
• On-hand skills in Oracle backup and restore technology (RMAN), archiving technology, standby technology, transportable tablespaces, flashback.
• On-hand knowledge of Oracle Database Server architecture – memory structures, background process workflows. On-hand knowledge of Server Administration – control files, redo logs, archive logs, undo, tablespaces, datafiles.
• On-hand knowledge of Oracle internal key structures – locks, latches, buffers.
• On-hand knowledge of Oracle memory structures and their tuning.
• On-hand knowledge of Oracle key performance indicators - waits, events. Has to be able to identify the root cause of the contingency. On-hand knowledge in statistics collection and control.
• On-hand knowledge and deep theoretical knowledge of Oracle storage structures (tablespaces, segments, extents, MSSM, ASSM, tables, indexes, partitioning).
• Has to be skilled in Oracle tracing technology (trace events, oradebug utility).
• On-hand and deep knowledge of Data Warehousing.
• On-hand knowledge of Net Service.
• On-hand knowledge of basic built-in Oracle packages.
Development Skills
• On-hand knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL.
• On-hand knowledge of SQL tuning. Has to be skilled in execution plan investigation and SQL query tuning (hints, query re-development).
Data Engineering Skills
• The ability to handle with ERWin data models.
• Basic knowledge of database normalization principles.
Data Engineering Skills
• Fluent English
